“What in the world happened to the two of you?”
It wasn’t really that much of a shock, but it was still shocking. The resident medic of Otogakure no Sato, Yakushi Kabuto, was not exactly used to seeing their future host in such…well, a humorous state. Bruised, yes, that’s what he was. His face was covered in wounds and his chosen set of clothing was dirty and soiled. A few specs of blood was evident on his face since the bruises were still pretty fresh. There was an indifferent look on the young boy’s face before Kabuto noticed him glancing at his chosen companion for the evening. The Uchiha scowled before letting one of his hands rest on his hip while the other held his chokuto, sparks of lightning coating it which meant his jutsu was still activated for some reason.
Now…
Kabuto’s gaze fell on the shorter creature that had stopped beside the young prodigy of the Sharingan users. When the boy glanced at her, she turned away, a bitter look plastered on her face. Her cheeks were puffed and her face was equally bruised. Actually, she looked more wasted that Sasuke was…even if the boy did have a huge black eye in one eye. The girl’s clothing was also sullied with dirt but she had more bruises on her and more blood. She even had leg wounds and was limping slightly but was trying not to show it. Ah yes, they did look good enough to laugh at, but Kabuto was not like that…no, no, he wasn’t and yet he found this all too amusing.
“He started it!”
“She started it.”
They spoke in unison. At that instance, the two glared at each other for a few seconds before snarling and looking away with a highly audible “hmph!” being mouthed off. The girl was growling as she hoisted herself to a sit on one of the medical tables inside Kabuto’s little infirmary. Sasuke, after deactivating his chidori blade, situated himself on a chair that was not so far away from the medical table that Kiomi had sat upon.
While watching this animosity, Kabuto couldn’t help but be amazed at the duo’s similarity. It was no wonder they were always on each other’s throats. It was a known fact that Kiomi started the fight. And it was a known fact that Sasuke ignored those who did not deem worthy of his time…yet, this happens. The medic wasn’t sure if Kiomi was just good at provoking people or if Sasuke was treating the girl differently. What he did know was that these two were quite troublesome and if the snake sannin saw this, it was the girl that will be receiving the punishment.
“Kiomi-chan, why do you pick fights with Sasuke-kun when you know that you can’t win?” He asked.
“Because every time I see his face, his voice that says. ‘Punch me’ rings in my head.”
“…”
“How sweet.”
Kabuto simply chuckled as he readied a few things in order to begin healing the two. At least, she did provide some kind of warm up for their little host. As the medic turned to the two, he saw them glaring at each other and perhaps it was just his imagination, but he thought he saw sparks fly...and not exactly the good kind. Kabuto sighed, kids these days...
