So, as you may or may not know, Valentine's day is celebrated in Japan, but a little differently than we do it here in the states.
In Japan the holiday is actually split into two days, Velentine's Day, and White Day a month later, on March 14th. To give a simple explanation, on Valentine's day the girls give candy to the boys, and on White Day the boys give back candy and gifts to the girls (custom is about 3x what they received).
First of all, I was considering making a Valentine's day thread, possibly a dance, to try and get the site up and going again.
Second of all, I was wondering if people had a preference as to doing this the American way or the Japanese way in terms of the celebrating the holiday.
Thoughts, opinions?

Like a said last night on messenger, a Valentine's Day dance sounds terrific!
As for following American/Japanese traditions, I'm rather torn. But, since they do live in Japan, maybe we should just go with their custom? Or, we could try to follow it to the best of our abilities, and throw in some Western ideas if we see fit.
Yay for flexibility. xD
