Physical Appearance A small little thing, Hyuga Hanabi comes at a height of 132.4 cm [4.344 ft], weighing approximately 78 lbs. Her most noticable features however are her lavendar eyes; lighter in tone than most females in the Hyuga family-more like her father's eyes. She has a lighter skin complexion as well; contrasted with her dark hair that comes down below her shoulders.
Personality Like a hot iron tempered into Steel, Hanabi's personality draws from both her own naturally firery nature and the molding of her Tycoon father. Since birth Hanabi's fate has always been looked at with the highest regards by her family. Headstrong even at birth she seemed to be loved for her demanding personality as a young toddler. Of course with the loss of her mother at a young age Hanabi would be raised mostly by her close relatives such as uncles, aunts, and her grandparents; giving her a reactionary influence in her life.
Of course a proper Hyuga could not be allowed to do nothing more than order servants and live in luxury, if a strong flame was not properly controlled it would surely die out leaving nothing but worthless ash to blow into the wind. At a young age Hanabi would be disaplined and taught to be obediant and loyal. Her daily schedules were always controlled to the hour as she went from one class to the next. Of course there was some resistance, but in the end Hanabi seemed to have finally molded herself in that image her family most desired; a confident, polite , quiet, but firm Hyuga with a shrewd eye towards anything she put her mind to. Of course that is not to say her firey temper doesn't at times get the best of her; after all fire was both the life giver and taker in this world-her flaw and greatest strength.
When allowed to deal with others Hanabi has a passive agressive mindset. One of her favorite quotes has come from learning about the American President Theodore Roosevelt as mentioned above; she illuminates this in her life as she treats others with respect and curtociy while always making sure her own agenda is completed behind the scene.
Hanabi also seems to have a problem dealing with free time; without any guidance there is no telling what Hanabi is capable of. Though through nurture she is a polite erudite; her confident and firey hard has its ways of slipping out through the cracks of her personality.
Strengths Confident: Hanabi is not easily flustered, or injured by personal attack toward her. She can take the worst of criticism and shoot it back just as hard. She has a strong view of herself, and setbacks are only speedbumps toward success to Hanabi.
Shrewd: Hanabi exhibits a high intelligence; perhaps only a bit below that of her cousin the Genius Neji. Capable of learning anything taught to her with ease she has already shown a advanced understanding of mathematics beyond her age group. Added to this Hanabi holds an advantage over her sister in shrewdness against the character of others. She can see easily through deciet, and has better social skills than that of her elder sister. Of course this does not make her a social butterfly, only that she knows how to interact with others for the best results.
Determined: Rarely giving in to the demands of those lesser than her, Hanabi is a determined child. Her willingness to achieve perfection in all she does and to never accept defeat in anything!
Flaws Arrogant: Having such a gift of intellect and being raised in an enviroment that praised her success has admittedly made Hanabi arrogant in the ability of others. Of course for the most part she takes care not to insult others for their inability, but inside she feels honestly that she is superior to many in terms of skills and traits.
Indifferent: Living such a sheltered life Hanabi can at times be quite cold to strangers who have offset her. Even to some close relatives she will treat with indifference; molded to always hold back on any possible expression that may inform another of her emotions.
Temper: It has always been in Hanabi's nature to be authoritarian and demanding; even with years of harsh training these feelings can be revealed through anger, mischivious actions, or a more raw ambition than she normally holds.
Drink? No, though perhaps once reaching the legal age she has no qualms with perhaps a glass of wine during a tete a tete.
Smoke? Never, tis a filthy habit-one she wishes secretly her father would cease for his own health.
Drive? No, upon reaching the minimum age requirement Hanabi plans on recieving a licence.
Drugs? Never, she will have no business with anyone with even a hint of the drug culture. It is a sickness she most abhors.
Partying? Parties have their uses...
Family Hyuga Hiashi: Father to Hanabi, the person of highest devotion to the young girl. Hanabi has clenched all her love toward Hiashi; desiring to achieve perfection in his name and for his approval. Though her business father can be quite busy she tries to spend every moment of Hiashi's free time with him. She has been called Hiashi's shadow by some, whether in a means to insult or not depended on the person, but it was true she almost never left his side and tried to join with him in as many business plans as possible.
Hyuga Hinata: Eldest sister to Hanabi, she treats her with indifference; not believing she has the same capability of being named a Heiress to Hyuga INC. Though not going as far as to torment Hinata, Hanabi has no real desire to make any connection with her. There is also a sense of jealousy in the young Hyuga, knowing that because of age Hinata has a higher chance of being given control of father's company. Seeing as it is something out of their control Hanabi strives to work harder than Hinata in a sort of one sided competition made to prove she is more reliable as the new owner of Hyuga INC.
Hyuga Neji: Cousin to Hanabi, she is certainly interested in forming a relationship with her cousin however Hanabi knows that Neji is more Hinata's friend-another splinter between the two siblings. Hanabi always tries to show how mature she is in front of Neji; wanting to impress her cousin in her tact and mannerism.
Residence Penthouse owned by Hiashi.
History Up high in the Penthouse owned by Hyuga Hiashi a new child would be born into said clan. Now was a second chance, a son he needed to run Hyuga INC. in this strongly paternal society. In a sense of bittersweetness he would instead have another girl; of course seeing her sobbing face Hiashi would lose his disappointment immediately. Those few relatives who had come to witness the birth had great praises to offer to the newborn; hearing her cries ring in the room seemed to dictate good fate for the girl. In time once things were settled the parents would decide upon a name for their second daughter; Hanabi-fireworks a sutable name for the noise and celebration she brought to those around her that fateful day.
As she is constantly told by her uncles and aunts Hanabi was quite expressive as a baby; giving off a strong cry for any discomfort, and always being difficult when feeding, clothing, or bathing.
As time moved on Hanabi would grow quite quickly, learning the basics of human life such as walking, talking, and defecating at an amazingly early age. She would be raised by all sorts of members of her family, and all of them would have the same message to give to her. Now that she could understand it was time to make a proper Hyuga out of the firey Hanabi. Taken under the wing of her grandfather she'd begin developing manners and as first priority would be conditions in how to act to be considered a proper Hyuga. The games given to her always had to do with what was in store for the future, playing at tea parties with her grandfather, and pretending to be a business man like her father. As she aged her schedule would be filled up; at five she was entered in plenty of activiites that she was home more or less to sleep. It was around this age that these activities became more than just something to pass the time; she would hear the praise that came from her father when she performed well, as well as stern words out of failure. It was around this age that Hanabi connected success with higher standing with her aloof father.
All aspects of Hanabi were trained to the maximum and by age seven she was skilled in martial arts, mathematics, ettiquete and arts. There was little enjoyment out of these activities except in the thought that Hiashi would approve of it.
Entering into elementary proved to be of little advancement to the Hyuga, and classes became simplistic to the point of boredom for Hanabi. However it was in school that she recieved the first taste of freedom, with no schedule to drag her around half of Japan. Not knowing how to express herself there were times when Hanabi sat alone in silence not knowing what to do with her free time. The most experience Hanabi got from school was learning how to deal with others in her age group; she aquired a few friends though none were ever really quite close to the girl. Soon she'd be requested to skip a grade due to her astute mind. This was accepted by all and soon Hanabi found herself among girls and boys a year old her, which was still about 20-40 years younger than the men she was used to being around during business meetings with her father.
Always striving for the next leap forward Hanabi continues to provide perfection to her clan; inside wanting that praise and approval despite the fact that she was second born in a near heredical structure of family.
No big surprise

What makes your character (or interpretation of the character) unique, original, and worth having on the site? Hanabi is a girl entering a more mature world almost out of requirement due to the boredom of the normal life of a ten year old. Filled with confidence but with only the smallest clue of treating people like individuals and not like pawns. Entering the world at such an age could allow the young girl to develop quite a chip on her shoulder if push comes to shove, and with her repressed personality Hanabi is not one to anger as she can find ways to hurt you physically, or emotionally depending on what suits her for the moment.
Role Play Sample "Hiya Ha!" shouted Hanabi as she worked around a training post; smacking her palms against the extended poles that came out of the smoothed post. Working in the dojo within the Hyuga penthouse Hanabi would continue with her training in the soft style of martial arts focusing on the supposed pressure points of the body. Out of all her classes, and practices Hanabi enjoyed martial arts training the most. The feeling of sweat and shaken limbs lit a fire in the usually stable heart of the nine year old. Every day she would improve on her form, or gain more strength in her body which slowly added up. The girl was quite sure that she could hold her own with the kids she went to school with; all of them now two years older than her. It was difficult skipping a grade the first time, and there was some hazing when it all began. However through different means Hanabi had moved the attention away from herself and dealt with anyone who had a problem with her skipping a year. Now that skipped a second time it wasn't much of a big deal; though the little Hyuga had begun to grow a following of sorts-strange future stalkers who seemed to be in awe with what they considered genius.
Emptying her mind of such thoughts Hanabi would stop her regiment as she panted to catch her breath before taking a drink of bottled water. Cleaning her face off with a towel Hanabi would head inside the living room of the penthouse, looking out to Tokyo. She'd place herself toward the glass looking down upon the ant like people as they went about their day. She felt cooped up in her skyscraper, a feeling she rarely got. Of course it needed to be satisfied and so finding a worker she'd ask them to go get her grandfather in hopes that he'd be willing to take her to the park.
"It's such a nice day, I hope grandfather isn't too busy..."
